Shoe Care Instructions 1. Clean your shoes regularly Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt and dust. For leather shoes, avoid using water; instead, use a damp cloth with a mild leather cleaner. For fabric shoes, you can gently spot clean with a mild detergent and water. 2. Protect your shoes from moisture Do not expose your shoes to direct sunlight or heat sources for extended periods. If your shoes get wet, stuff them with paper towels to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape. Allow them to air dry naturally, away from direct heat. 3. Store your shoes properly Keep your shoes in a cool, dry place when not in use. Use shoe trees (preferably cedar) to help maintain the shape of leather shoes. Store them in a breathable bag or box to protect them from dust and damage. 4. Condition leather shoes regularly Apply a leather conditioner or polish every few weeks to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking. This is especially important for premium leather shoes. 5. Avoid rough surfaces Be mindful of the surfaces you walk on. Avoid walking on rough or abrasive surfaces that can scratch or damage the soles and uppers of your shoes. 6. Rotate your shoes Do not wear the same pair of shoes every day. Rotating your shoes allows them to air out and reduces wear and tear. 7. Use shoe accessories For athletic shoes, replace the insoles and laces when they show signs of wear. Use shoe covers to protect your shoes from rain or mud. 8. Professional cleaning For high-end or delicate shoes, consider professional cleaning services to ensure they are treated properly.
